IEEE SA IoT 2013 Workshop

This morning, IEEE Standards Association (IEEE SA) kicked off its Internet of Things (IoT) Workshop with opening remarks from Oleg Logvinov(center), Member IEEE SA Standards Board, Working Group Chair, IEEE 1902 Working Group and Director of Market Development, Industrial Power Conversion Division, STMicroelectronics, and Mary Lynne Nielsen, Technology Innovations Director at IEEE SA. Keynote was delivered by Luca Difalco (right), VP of Marketing IPG and Strategic Sectors Development at STMicroelectronics. Followed by dynamic presentations and panels. This two day event will explore the dynamics of the IOT Market and the convergence of platforms and services, with a special focus on the need for an more interdisciplinary approach to the design of products and services for the IOT Market, across verticals.
